"Look"

Take a "look" and see what summer has brought to our "neck of the woods".

 Orange day lilies everywhere...

a fragrant beauty...

black raspberries,  that will be certain to find their way into a pie or two...

cabbages and beans growing well in the summer heat...

and last but not least a peaceful countryside.

Thank you for taking time to "look".

Hope everyone has a blessed week.

Hugs

A Lovely Finish

May is leaving us with a lovely finish.

The clematis has started to bloom...

Spiderwort and Yellow daylilies are giving us a show...

The pink peonies are bursting forth...

White Campanella bells are standing tall as the month of May waves farewell.

Lastly one must not forget the foxglove.  They too wanted to say good by.

On that note I will say good night and wish all of you a lovely finish to your month of May.

Hugs

Debbie

Love Letters

God writes us daily love letters.  They may be written on the morning mist...

in the crinkled lines of a bloom...

 from a hilltop view...

or in the smiles of a friend or two.

Sometimes they can be hiding.  We may need
to take a closer look.

Would it not be sad if His love letters went unread?

Hope you are reading yours today.

Have a wonderful week.

God Bless

Debbie

Floral Sketches

Dear Friends,
Sharing a floral sketch done this month.  June always seems to have so many flowers blooming at once.  It is hard to decide which ones to capture.
These were sketched directly in the garden with a micron pen.   Later a bit of watercolor was added in the studio.  Canson makes a great Montval Field Watercolor book.   Seems to accept light washes well without buckling.   Mine is a 10x7 with 50 pages .   This size suits my taste because it is easy to carry outdoors.

It is hard to realize that the last week of this beautiful month is here.   Where did June go?

Guess time flies when one is soaking up the sunshine and enjoying those glorious blooms!

May all of you enjoy those last days of June...See you in July!

Hugs Debbie

A Day's Blessings

Here are some blessings I found today.

A single flower...

a peaceful spot...

a blue sky

a garden patch...

and some creative endeavors!

Hope you found some blessings today as well.   Have a great week.    God Bless!

What a...

lovely August day.  The sky was so blue with white puffy clouds... The zinnias that were just seeds in the ground two short months ago are...
