The word "abundance" brings to mind this season of the year. It evokes the feeling of more than enough.
The meaning according to the dictionary, states that it is a large quantity of something.
The Topical Bible addresses it to mean, "to be heavy", "to overflow", or "to plait together", to "augment" and to "multiply". Clearly within each of these descriptions we find a surplus that can be shared.
So with this in mind I will share a few of the lilies that are in bloom...
apples ripening - soon ready to pick...
another baby bird getting ready to leave the nest.
Last, but not least this cheerful zinnia patch.
As this month of July comes to a close - hoping that all of you are finding abundance in your days. Would love if you would share them when you stop to visit.
Hugs
Debbie
"Mercy, peace, and love be yours in abundance." Jude 2 (NIV)
Hope you have abundance in your days too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Love those zinnias. The picture of the vegetables in the basket reminds me of when I was growing up. We always had a garden in our back yard and we would pick green beans for dinner. Then we would sit outside and snap off the ends and snap them into smaller bit size pieces.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your wonderful reflection on abundance. So enriching to think about. I think the first picture is a Joe Pye Weed? Such soft, pretty blossoms. And I love your zinnia patch. How sweet to catch glimpses of fledglings ready to leave the nest. Happy week ahead, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteThose apples look so good!
ReplyDeleteWonderful abundant things! Finally we will have some sunny and warm summer days this week. Looking forward to that. Have a great week, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what is in abundance around you. We are seeing beautiful days and an abundance of flowers everywhere. Wishing you a great week!
ReplyDeleteJuly looks beautiful where you live, thank you for sharing. I have been enjoying an abundance of summer fruits--cherries, tart little plums, watermelon, and more. It doesn't quite make up for the abundance of heat and humidity, but it's a pleasure nonetheless!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Our great grands in Kentucky are growing veggies and flowers. Learning a lot!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty photo of the butterfly. And your zinnias are such a striking color. We are blessed to have an abundance of foods, and I feel the Holy Spirit around me all the time. I hope this precious bird takes off all by itself safely.
