There are certain things that never grow old.
Like a morning sunrise...
a cheery flower bed...
a basket full of sun ripened tomatoes...
a faithful companion...
a good book or two...
and last but not least your visits and sweet comments!
Have a wonderful week. Hugs - Debbie
"The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:28b & 29 (NIV)
All wonderful things. I never get tired of any of those. I agree on blog visits and comments. They are a highlight of my day.
ReplyDeleteThese are indeed things to be grateful for! Same here on the comments...
ReplyDeleteI love my "people"...!
hugs

The tomatoes look so delicious. When our grandkids were here this past weekend, it was so nice to be able to pick ripe tomatoes from the garden with them. They love the tasty fruit.
ReplyDeleteYou are so right....these precious things will never grow old, and that sunset photo is so pretty. There's just nothing like home grown tomatoes. So many nice dishes you can make with them, and my favorite way, just eating them plain with a little salt. Thank you for the beautiful verse today also, Debbie. It really spoke to my heart.

Amen, thanks for the reminders. My mom loved sunsets.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, you have the knack for finding the positive things in life for us to appreciate. Thanks for reminding us of these things that never grow old. Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteAll things that cost nothing to enjoy, but are priceless.
ReplyDeleteWell except the dog love . Mine demands cookies, toys,
drives in the country in exchange for snuggles.
But well worth every squeaky pig I buy!
Thank you for a reminder of what joy awaits us every morning.
Gods love for us anew each day.
Yes friend...Kelsey has been quite an expense - glasses, shoes, blankets and even my hubby''s underwear - but oh well she is worth every penny. :)!!
DeleteYes, beautiful things to be grateful for! Laughed at your comment about Kelsey! :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely post! And the Scripture just touched my heart-I needed it!
ReplyDeleteAmen, Debbie. Some wonderful simple pleasures that never grow old.
