End may be Better

At Harmony Hills the end of September is proving to be better than the beginning.  The first week of the month we were in the 90's and quite humid.  As we come to the final days the temperatures are much cooler and more pleasant.

Already the hills are displaying the changing colors.

In spots there is brilliant crimson foliage giving us a promise of more beauty to come.

Chokecherry is growing wild making the fence row lovely.

Not to be outdone the leaves of the blackberry bush have turned a lovely peach color.  They grow near by.

Yes I believe the end of September is better than when it began.

Hope your end of the month is great.

Have a lovely week.

Hugs

Debbie

  1. Good observation. I totally agree.
Chokeberries, I haven't seen them in years.
We threw them at each other as kids. Not a good thing to do. :)

  2. Lovely photos of the changes in your area. We have a little bit of a fall look to a few of the leaves, but it is off to a slow start. We have had showers and rain for the last few days and I'm ready to see some sunlight and shadows again. Enjoy the changes as we head into October! Have a good week.

  7. Loving easing into your fall. We won't get any for ages. Still in the high nineties in central Texas.

  9. Nice photos, here due to the drought appears very shy autumn still, we wait for the change of weather and above all that the heat leaves us at once to welcome this magical season.
    Happy week.
    Best regards.
