Great Day

What a great day for a motorcycle ride.  Hubby and I couldn't resist .  This day  needed to be seized and savored.

We saw Crimson Reds...

peachy oranges...

Golden yellows...

and all these against the bluest sky.

As we rode country roads Travis Tritt's song came to mind "A Great Day to Be Alive"

Thought maybe you might enjoy hearing it.  Hope you have a great day too!

"Whoever of you loves life and desires to see many good days," Psalm34:12  (NIV)

  1. Haven’t been on a motorcycle ride in 50 years. Ha. Thanks for the trip!

  2. You are so brave! :~) What beautiful pictures you were able to capture along the way. I love the song!

  3. Wow, love the reds oranges and yellows!

  4. A motorcycle ride sounds fun. I think I've only took one in my life. My cousin drove me around for a while in my teen years. You saw much beauty along the way. There's nothing like seeing the pretty trees that have changed color in the Fall. Sounds like a wonderful day, Debbie. And country roads are my favorite.

  5. sounds sooo fun and beautiful too hugs

  6. Gorgeous pictures. I love how nature gives us a last blast of glorious colour before the dullness of winter. Great that you can make the most of it!

  7. Amazing colors of fall. I love those reds, orange, yellows colors. Enjoy the nice weather.

  8. I bet it was fun! I love the colors too-wish it could last much longer than it does, but we are happy for the suny days.

  9. I'm glad the nice weather gave you a chance for a motorcycle ride. The colors look beautiful and being out in the fresh air feels so good. Enjoy it while you can and have a great weekend.

  10. Thank-you so much for your visit to my 'porch' so I could find your blog! SO beautiful! and I love that song too!

  11. I absolutely love the sketches. So lovely. The photos are outstanding with beautiful color. Thanks.

With the coming of February my thoughts often turn to the subject of love. Certainly Valentine's Day reminds me of that special someone ...
