Prayers of Encouragement

Sending up prayers of encouragement for those in Texas and Louisiana who have lost loved ones, their homes and businesses.

Many of us will be celebrating a three day weekend here in the U.S.  Amidst the celebration perhaps you will take a moment to pause and "look up" for Harvey's victims.
I will join you.

"The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective."  James 5:16b (NIV)

God Bless

  1. I'll join you. So sorry for all those people.

  2. I'll join you, too. Such heart-breaking devastation...

  3. The devastation will take months and years to bring those folks where they can be at home. Prayers for the long haul

  5. Thoughts and prayers of those in need are left before His throne. God is good.

  6. It is heartbreaking to think about what Texas is going through. It is good to see so many people helping others in the true spirit of what we should all do as brothers and sisters. I have been praying for them and will continue to pray for them...both the victims and the survivors. Peace to you my friend.

  7. God's blessings and strength to all affected by this disaster. Prayers to those trying to cope with this storm! Hearts are with you.

  8. Dear Debbie,
My thoughts and prayers are going up with yours, for all those who have been affected by this disaster. It does warm my heart to see neighbors helping neighbors, strangers offering their help and hearts.
    blessings to you

  9. It's so sad to read about what they are going through. Prayers are definitely needed.

  10. So devastating, I can't even imagine. :(

  11. Thank you for your visit Debbie. Rascal! Now that is a great name indeed.
Continuing to send up prayers for all.
    Bless you

  12. I haven't stopped praying for all the people in Texas! I can't even imagine what they're going through. When Sandy came to NY my neighborhood suffered so much and we are still rebuilding and yet Texas was so much worse and they are still unable to go home. My thoughts and prayers going to all who has been affected!!

  13. Prayers are said constantly, Dearest Debbie.
Every time I wanted to complain about all the work getting the house ready to sale is, I would think of Harvey victims and it put everything into perspective.
As Hilda knows - the effects go on and on. My heart and prayers are with them all.

  14. I will keep praying and now we can add hurricane Irma to the list. Hugs to you, Debbie!

  15. Bonjour chère amie,
