I played it four times in a row. I was not familiar with this version and LOVED it! Thank you so much, my dearest Debbie. Holy week can be a tough one so this helps. Then comes EASTER!
A lovely hymn, thank you. As I watched it I was reminded of just how important and central the cross images is for millions of Christians. Regardless of its structure or appearance, it means so much to so many and is a constant reminder of faith. Thanks, Debbie! Have a good week! Libby
It's beautiful. It was my grandpa's favorite song. He'd try to sing it-but always knew his voice was a bit off-but it didn't matter to us at all. What we heard was his real love for Christ. Happy Easter dear friend!
Dear Debbie, I’ve got tears in my eyes as I type, I can’t believe you found it! I’ve just travelled back 60+ years in my mind. I was a young child starting out in life when I first heard it Beautiful just beautiful, thank you.
Dear Barbara - I don't have your email...so glad you enjoyed this song. It brings tears to my eyes as well. Truly a beloved old hymn. Hope you have a great day. Hugs!
