Celebrating Memorial Day in America serves as a wonderful reminder.
A reminder of all the men and women who have served others for a Greater Good.
Some have lost their lives, their dreams, their strength and their health.
They certainly deserve honor and remembrance. May God richly reward them for their great sacrifice.
"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends." John 15: 12-13 (NIV)

Some Week's Happenings
Mr. Groundhog |
Look who found himself up a tree.
Schindler |
Madam Butterfly decided to swing by for a visit.
These sweet scented blooms were possibly the reason for her call.
That rhubarb from the previous post...
well it ended up in a delicious dessert. Naturally all calories were removed!

Lastly a bit more painting was done...not finished yet but making progress.
We are so glad you stopped to check in on our week's happenings.
Hope you are smiling!

An ordinary day
It was an ordinary day with some extraordinary gifts.
Gorgeous skies and green rolling hills
A bright spot of bloom...
the sight of a a rare bird...
Freshly cut rhubarb ...
and a happy boy!
So glad you stopped by to visit and share my ordinary day.
Hope you all have a blessed week.

Busy Painting
wip |
I have been busy painting the last couple of weeks.
Seems like when the spring flowers start blooming I want to get my brushes moving.
There is always inspiration to be found growing near by.
Shades of pink...
Azaleas |
Johnny Jump Ups |
Tulips & Virginia bluebells |
and bright yellow will make one's palette certainly sing.
Ah what would we do without beautiful flowers to inspire??
Hope all of you are enjoying some today as well.
Have a blessed week.
Hugs Debbie
