September has found me filling up pages in my sketchbook. These fleeting moments are precious. It is a wonderful way to take note of what made each day meaningful.
Dried corn stalks and morning glories weaving around a tree stump will remind me of a sunny morning in late summer.
Weeds growing in a field ...the neighbor's barn...
gathered wildflowers all will serve as a lovely memory of a beautiful time of the year.
When I look at these sketches I will remember dusk falling softly and the crickets calling .
Thank you for letting me share these pages with you. God Bless!

ReplyDeleteyour sketchbooks are a diary to be enjoyed by generations to come. particularly love the bunny and the sunflower with hanging head.
ReplyDeleteThe sketch with the rabbit reminds me of the rascally rabbit that eats my hostas. Love your sketches.
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie how lovely to see inside your sketchbooks. They certainly cheer up a dreary wet day here. That bunny of yours looks as mischievous as Beatrix Potters' Peter Rabbit. He just needs a little blue coat. I used to love her books as a child, in fact, I still do. Keep enjoying that sketching. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYou do a beautiful job in your sketchbook. Your drawings have such nice flow and expressiveness. You make each little plant special and full of character!
ReplyDeleteprecious pages debbie
