Possible

Is it possible this may be winter's last hurrah?

If so it certainly was lovely.

It began snowing yesterday afternoon and into the overnight.

Each branch and limb was covered in white.

The sky gave a wonderful backdrop to the snowy hillside.

This type of winter morning shows me how breathtaking this season of the year can be.

Hope everyone enjoyed stopping by and sharing a glimpse of how it is possible to savor a wintry morn while waiting on spring!

Have a blessed week!

Hugs

Debbie

  1. Your photos are beautiful and your ability to see the amazing loveliness in this morning, while waiting for Spring to burst into bloom. We are not promised tomorrow or Spring and enjoying and finding beauty in the present is an honorable thing indeed. God bless you :)

  2. So pretty, Debbie, especially that last photo. You live in such a lovely area. Winter is not over for us yet either. Although we've had sunshine, we may get a light snow in March, and some rain. Yes, it's nice to focus on this beautiful season. It does not last forever. And you are thankful for it.

Have a wonderful week ahead, Debbie.

  6. Well, if it was the last hurrah, it was a beautiful one. You got some great shots, and I love the one with the sun coming though. Are you ready for spring? Very pretty.

  7. Debbie, that was the California Scrub-Jay on my post. It was taken a few years ago in my hometown. The cat and pinecones were recent pictures. I used to see the Scrub-Jay all the time in northern California. They are unafraid birds, and I would give them some of my Starbuck's loaf and they would pose for me. They came up real close to my car every time. Up here in the mountains, I don't see them, but I do have the Steller's Jay come by and visit now and then. I love how you are interested in birds. I am as well, and it's nice to know their names. : )

  8. Such beautiful photos! At this time of year I am normally sick of the snow and cold but these photos are so pretty! I am getting started on my spring cleaning this week with some professional carpet cleaning & hoping that the warmer weather will follow haha. Wish me luck!

  9. Beautiful photos Debbie. It's really cold here but so far we're getting nothing worse than a bit a sleet. I hope it stays that way.

I am grateful and happy for your kind words on prior to latest post my friend 🥹
I couldn’t respond on time to the comments due the business of Ramadan month actually. So wanted you to say that I felt happy that my flowers could sooth your eyes 🥹🥰🤗
May spring approach asap in your area🙏😊

  11. I've never lived in a place that has snow, but I have experienced snow falling a couple of times when I was visiting someplace that did. There is something so peaceful and beautiful about watching the snow fall. It's so quiet! Of course, it's more fun when you are cozy inside and not having to drive somewhere or shovel walkways... Your photos are beautiful--I'm glad you are able to appreciate the beauty as winter comes to an end.
