Do You ever wonder...

why the sky is blue...

certain flowers flourish in the heat...

others not so much.

Why a butterfly selects the common clover for its nectar...

or one type of tree bears apples...

and another peaches.

Finally what makes this a cat

and this a dog?

Silly questions for sure.  Yet if we had the answers to these - then perhaps we just might have wisdom to solve the bigger concerns that this life holds.

Thank you for letting me share my wondering with you.

Have a blessed week.

Hugs
Debbie

As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."  Isaiah 55:8-9

  8. It sounds simple, but it reminds me of the hymn:

    All things bright and beautiful

    All creatures great and small

    All things wise and wonderful

The Lord God made them all.

  10. Sweet post and questions, especially good ones to ponder in the summer when butterflies are so wonderful to see and the blue sky after the rain such a blessing!! Lately about the blue sky, I so think about its blue to remind us of God in heaven, and the blue sapphire stone under the throne (Exodus 10!!)!! Blessings!

  14. Nature is very wise and a true teacher who teaches us in the course of our lives, from time to time reminds us how insignificant we are.

  15. Debbie, I love the verse you shared about thoughts. As I was looking at your photos and reading your words, "do you ever wonder," I started to wonder about the apple and peach tree. Yes, that's amazing how one fruit grows on one tree and another fruit on another tree. Nature is spectacular isn't it? And I've been longing to visit and spend some time there lately.

This is a sweet post, Debbie. Have a beautiful rest of the week.
