why the sky is blue...
certain flowers flourish in the heat...
others not so much.
Why a butterfly selects the common clover for its nectar...
or one type of tree bears apples...
and another peaches.
Finally what makes this a cat
and this a dog?
Silly questions for sure. Yet if we had the answers to these - then perhaps we just might have wisdom to solve the bigger concerns that this life holds.
Thank you for letting me share my wondering with you.
Have a blessed week.
Hugs
Debbie
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the Lord.
As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
So many questions without any answers. lol Ideas to ponder on a hot summer evening. Love your photos. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier. Glad to say that Jerry is making a tiny bit of progress. He had been taking some steps, so that is definite progress. Have a wonderful week! Stay cool...it will be a hot one.

ReplyDeleteWe are all different, and have a perfect environment where we thrive. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYes, I do wonder, though often I forget to...life's mysteries...I LOVE how you expressed these here. The mysterious wonders of nature...often people hurry and don't stop to notice or to wonder...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and thought provoking post. Hope you are well. Love to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, Debbie. I love peach trees....I had one MANY years back but for some reason it didn't do well. Have a wonderful week, my friend.. its going to be a very hot one. But I'll take the heat before the cold months...sending hugs....
ReplyDeleteI love this post, Debbie. I asked my husband to stop and look at it this morning. We go flying around here. It's such a good thing to stop, think and savor. Hugs from toasty Las Vegas!
ReplyDeleteI wish I knew the answers to your very interesting questions.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds simple, but it reminds me of the hymn:
ReplyDeleteAll things bright and beautiful
All creatures great and small
All things wise and wonderful
The Lord God made them all.
It's fun to let our minds wander and wonder. So much to ponder in this wonderful world of ours.
ReplyDeleteSweet post and questions, especially good ones to ponder in the summer when butterflies are so wonderful to see and the blue sky after the rain such a blessing!! Lately about the blue sky, I so think about its blue to remind us of God in heaven, and the blue sapphire stone under the throne (Exodus 10!!)!! Blessings!
ReplyDeletePS I posted before checking, I wrote Exodus 10. its Exodus 24:10!!!
ReplyDeleteNo matter the answers, your pictures are nice. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteSo many things we don't really know ...but who knows, maybe one day we will know the answer to everything :-))
ReplyDeleteNature is very wise and a true teacher who teaches us in the course of our lives, from time to time reminds us how insignificant we are.
ReplyDeleteRegards.
Debbie, I love the verse you shared about thoughts. As I was looking at your photos and reading your words, "do you ever wonder," I started to wonder about the apple and peach tree. Yes, that's amazing how one fruit grows on one tree and another fruit on another tree. Nature is spectacular isn't it? And I've been longing to visit and spend some time there lately.
ReplyDeleteThis is a sweet post, Debbie. Have a beautiful rest of the week.
