This past week I found something more that made me smile. Yes the hollyhocks did bring a grin but it was not these.
Nor was it the ripening black raspberries; although I was delighted to see there will be some for a pie.
No, it was catching sight of this face peering down at me from the pussy willow bush. In fact there were two other faces that were hiding in the leaves. They were three young ones without a mom in sight. Hope she found them. Yes this certainly had me smiling...may it bring a smile to you as well.
Hugs
Debbie

Amen!
Oh, love the hollyhocks. Remind me of New Mexico. Great photos. Cuties waitin' for the mom. Happy week to you.
ReplyDeleteAdorable! Mom was around somewhere. I hope not in your garden.
ReplyDeleteThey all make me smile! Happy week, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteThat is the cutest picture of the raccoon, Debbie. What a surprise to see him peeking through the bush. And those Robin eggs! I've always thought they were so pretty with their blue color. I do hope you show us the pie you make with those yummy raspberries. They're so expensive at the stores, and how nice it is to be able to pick them around your area. Your posts are a joy to my heart, and I also want to thank you for your comments as well. They are very sincere and dear to me.
ReplyDeleteHappy Summer Debbie!

I saw your comment on Red Rose's blog and thought I'd check you out. I love seeing GOD and his gifts to us through nature!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos Debbie, and that Racoon is just so adorable.
ReplyDeleteThat would put a smile on my face too :)
ReplyDeleteHave a sweet week,
Your blogging sister, Connie :)
I am catching up on all your posts I've missed recently. I agree, what makes me smile the most are the critters in my yard! We had a raccoon hanging out in our yard for a day a few years ago. A real delight! And these past few weeks a fawn and her mother frequent my yard just 20 feet from my window. And daily I enjoy the birds at the feeder just outside my window. God's creation never ceases to delight and amaze me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet face to find peering out at you! I hope you have a great rest of the week!!!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet! Love that little face. And those blue eggs! You have many lovely things to discover in your world.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th of July Debbie! Coming over here gave me a chance to see that cute little raccoon again. : )
