These fine May Days find me gardening.

Violas and pansies are always the earliest annuals planted here at Harmony Hills.  They do not mind a bit of frost and even thrive in cooler temperatures.

They have the sweetest faces and come in so many varieties.  Mr. Bunny was happy to take his place once again among these beauties.

As warmer weather arrives more time is spent outdoors weeding, digging and planting.  There is always garden chores to be done.

So for now friends I am off to the garden.

Have a lovely week.

"The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." Gen.2:15 (NIV)

  1. Violas and pansies are two of my favorite flowers--such cheerful little faces :) Love the bunny watching over them, too. Enjoy your spring gardening!

  2. How lovely -- and so enjoyable to have one's hands in the soil ...!!

  3. I love mr. bunny and the sweet faces of the violets! My balcony garden is coming along slowy due to cold weather, but I can't wait. Enjoy your garden, Debbie!

  4. The smiling faces on the pansies always remind me of my grandmother. She always made sure to have them in her garden each year. Enjoy you time in your garden and have a wonderful week!

  5. Your flowers are very pretty. And I love the bunny.

  6. Oh I just love a bunny in a flower bed. Your flowers are so pretty. May is my favorite month and I've been in the garden too. Have to make myself come inside to fix meals and do housework. Yuk! :)

  7. Enjoy your garden .., this is such a wonderful time of the year when all the flowers bloom and you see colors everywhere!!! Of course June is my favorite month... I love roses... my birthday flower!!
Enjoy the rest of the week!!!❤️

  8. Have a lovley week as well, Debbie
Each day with warmer weather, there's something else outdoors to tend to. I hope you are enjoying lots of fun garden discoveries.

  9. O, I love it. Also the rabbit.

  10. Your little planter box of Violas is so pretty, Debbie. And that cute little bunny
makes a happy garden. I've been doing a lot of yard work too - picking up piles
of leaves and pine needles, planting mini roses, and just cleaning things up.
I think the earth teaches us things when we dig and plant and work outside in
nature. I'm glad you have a garden to find joy and peace and comfort, Debbie.

  11. One of the best places you can be in is in the garden, I too spend lots of time there enjoying nature awakening and blooming . Lovely picture, just love pansies , have a nice weekend. xx

  12. I love violas and pansies too but this time I decided to have flowering geraniums in red, pink and white colors. Your garden is beautiful and shining with those bright colors. Oh I love that bunny watching your flowers. Have a lovely day and enjoy your gardening.
