The daffodils, tulips and bluebells have given way to the last of May's flowers.
Irises and Peonies are now in full bloom.
Baptisia is reaching to touch the sky.
Foxglove starts to show
as bleeding hearts go. I am going to miss May's flowers. How about you?
Here is wishing everyone a wonderful June.
Hugs Debbie
Beautiful flowers Debbie. My iris just bloomed and the orange day lillies are not far behind. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteMissing the irises the most. Mine won't bloom this year because of the transplanting. I see plenty out and about, and lovely pictures like yours.
Does anyone know the name of the iris that smells like bubble gum?
It is sad to see the passing of May flowers - but there are always June's to look forward to. My foxgloves are just starting to flower a sight I always look forward to.
ReplyDeleteYour flowers are lovely-including the one you painted! Thank you for sharing those images:)
ReplyDeleteLovely aquarella with soft colors, I like it! You've got a beautiful garden Debbie. Goodday to you, Hugs
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting Debbie-and I love your flower gardens. I'm glad you had some time to paint....
ReplyDeleteLovely photos all, debbie! Thank you for sharing them. I must admit irises are one of my faves - such a striking, extravagant bloom :)
ReplyDeleteKathryn xx
I love your May flowers, Debbie...I would miss them, too. I'm enjoying my orchids, some pentas and a number of native Florida wildflowers. These should bloom all through summer, so I am very lucky.
ReplyDeleteI am always sad to see the spring flowers disappear, makes me realize how fast time goes. But Iris's and Peonie's are so beautiful they almost make us forget that it once was spring :-) Love your painting of a daffodil, your colors are always so fresh and harmonious ! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful painting, Debbie! Your love of flowers is very evident in the way you painted this gentle daffodil. I wish I had your talent for growing flowers!
ReplyDeleteThe last two days are sunny, so if I get past that, I'll enjoy whatever are left after the deluge.
ReplyDeleteAll my favorite flowers are here. I wish the foxgloves were longer lasting, they are so majestic and fun to paint. You must be a few weeks behind us, all of these flowers have come and gone here in the Southeast climes.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful watercolor Debbie! And I love these Spring flowers! I'm still waiting for my peonies to blossom.....almost there!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful watercolor daffodil, Debbie. Daffies always heralded Spring for me. You must take wonderful walks if you pass by all these glorious flowers. To see such a variety of Spring blooms must be an amazing thing.
ReplyDeleteI can never get over the beauty of peonies. Enjoy them while they last. Their beauty is so fleeting.
ReplyDeleteThe natural beauty in your photos matches the beauty in your paintings, Debbie. Sigh...
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteIt is good to be back... Thank you so much for your visit and kind thoughts..
This was my first attempt at needle felting a boot.. Was quite the challenge, but enjoyed it, and it made a great Chateau for the mice.
I love all the beauty here... Especially your peonies... I tried growing them years ago, but no luck... So good to view your beautiful work again.. Love the painting.

Thank you for sharing your garden pictures with us, I enjoy them so much. I'll miss the spring flowers too, ah well... until next year.
ReplyDeleteHappy June, Debbie! Love your collection of flowers. It seems like the ones that appear in May have such a short life and are gone just when you really start to notice them. I have tried my best to paint a few of them. Enjoy your day! We have been having 2 days of much needed rain...enough to keep me from painting outdoors. lol
ReplyDeleteBonjour chère amie,
ReplyDeleteC'est un véritable plaisir que de découvrir toutes vos belles photos... Le printemps nous offre de si belles fleurs.
Il faut en profiter, cette belle saison passe si vite !
