Winter has brought several good things.
Great books to read...
some new tracks in the snow...
a country scene...
and a few spring dreams.
Hope you find some of Winter's good things. Thank you for your lovely visit. Have a good day!
Love the bird! I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie, winter brought us another two inches of snow today. It's over now and I hear the scraping of my hubby's snow shovel on the driveway. Just another way he says I love you. Have a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,

Yes time to look at the good things! Great post. Think I'll go for a nature walk as you always see things that are hidden by the warm weather foliage. :-)
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your winter scenes Debbie, cute birdie too
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice reminder to be grateful in all seasons!
ReplyDeleteI love your sketch Debbie! Winter is nice for making sure we slow down a bit.Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLove the sketch and spotted the art books, happy reading.
ReplyDeleteYour sketch is awesome, Debbie! I love the winter, and I love this post! :)
ReplyDeleteYour bird drawing is so well done! I like the set of his face and his serious, curious little expression. If that chair is still unoccupied, consider it taken! The books and the mug of whatever too!
ReplyDeleteThat chair looks quite the cozy!! That's what makes winter enjoyable.....hot coffee, or cocoa and a good book or magazine! And of course, if one can sketch or paint like you...that's nice too! Blessings Debbie...your art is beautiful..what a wonderful gift from God! Roxie
ReplyDeleteOh the drawing is just beautiful, Debbie! I so prefer autumn and winter to spring and summer. So much for me to love about the winter since I am more homebody than anything. Just the warmth of home, the comforting enfolding of darkness, the slowing down...all right up my alley. I'm glad I am not alone in seeing the joys of the season.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, sounds like a cozy winter, I'm in the middle of ordering some good books from Amazon, I just wish I had a little bit of the snow that you have, but I'm also so anxious for spring tulips. I love your bird sketch, Hope your having a lovely day,
ReplyDeleteJenni
I always like winter, it's a time to reflect and for me a time to reorganize and find inspiration!!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your positive, upbeat take on the world and your day. That is so refreshing. We are expecting a bit of snow tomorrow...anywhere from 2 -10 inches. lol Hope it bypasses you.
ReplyDeleteThis looks so cozy , would love to come and have a chat with you sitting in that chair :-) Lovely sketch of the bird...that is something I really enjoy in the winter, observing the birds come to eat in my garden.
ReplyDeletelove the bird sketch in your journal and the cozy chair where you sit and read...these truly are the good things of Winter.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, it's such fun to see how you resume your days, with simple and basic things. Your pictures say it all. Winter can be fill with so many activities. Enjoy! :)
