"LET IT SNOW!"

"Oh the weather outside is frightful...

But the fire is so delightful,

And since we've no place to go,

Let it snow!   Let it snow!   Let it snow!"

Hope everyone is safe and warm tonight.

God bless!

  1. Debbie, Your fire sure does look delightful! It's a balmy 75 down here in Central Florida! Happy Holidays to you.

  2. What a heartwarming post. Love the images and wonder which one is Shelby...all fully grown.
We had our loyal and devoted dog put down today - cancer. Sad, but know it was the only thing to do and will focus on the good times and enjoy seeing another Frisbee loving dog enjoying life. Your surroundings are so gorgeous. Thanks for sharing, Debbie.

  3. I love the snow, it's so quiet and peaceful, makes me stop for a moment and reflect on the many blessings in nature we're given.

  4. Looks like fun with your dog. Our snow started around 9 pm and it's piling up steadily. Should get 12-16 in. before it's over tomorrow morning. Enjoy your fire!

  5. What a gorgeous dog and beautiful photos. We still have about three inches of snow on the ground here, but it's been just warm enough in the daytime and horribly cold at night (lows in the single digits) that the snow still looks like snow but it's really solid ice. Stay warm!

    Blessings,

    Victoria

  7. Great photos of your snow and I love the red bows on the gate to welcome your visitors. We haven't had any snow yet, so I'm enjoying the snow on the posts I follow.

  9. Such a beautiful post, Debbie!! I can imagine you and your husband sitting near the fire and relaxing with the shepherds at your feet. Beautiful holiday image and kudos to whomever had the energy to go out in the snow and throw the Frisbees!

  10. Wow! How tall is your German Shepard in the first photo? Beautiful pose for a painting.
Snowing here in Vermont since last evening, light and slow so far. Great for winter sports. The snow mobile fans must be glued to their windows while getting their gear ready.

  11. The snow looks beautiful and your pups look adorable in it. We don't get much snow where I live so I love seeing yours. Stay cozy by the fire, it looks nice and toasty.

  18. Lovely photos to go with the song. It looks like you had more snow than we did here. We only had about 1/2 inch and the rain washed that away yesterday morning. Enjoy the snow!!!

  19. I love to hear the crackle and pops in a fireplace as a warm fire glows...your view of Winter from your deck and the snow on the fence gate with the red bow spells out Christmas. Lovely....just lovely.
