Keeping busy

I should be keeping busy with Christmas only fourteen days away.   The shopping is not finished...nor the baking.   Cards still need to be mailed.    Will it get done?   I hope so.   If not Christmas still arrives on the 25th.
 










In the meantime I will make a hot cup of cocoa and take a few minutes to enjoy some lights.   Why don't you join me.

    I know how you feel, I'm always on the last minute, I'm still working on my cards !! no tree this year I'm going to my daughters,.so this weekend I'll find a nice branch in our woods & hang a few decorations. Would love to have your lovely painted bird come and sit on my decorated branch.

    Your tree is beautiful and so is the bluebird on the pine. So Christmas-y!! I am so drawn to the window with lace curtains. Such a gorgeous blue light beyond...

    Lovely!!! It makes me sit back and take a deep breath. I still have shopping, cards to put together and send, and an art show both days this weekend. I'm not ready for anything. lol

    Hi Debbie! Your home is so beautiful-I love your decorating. The tree is just breathtaking. We have done nothing except to put our little Charlie Brown tree on the kitchen table. That's it~but I do want a real tree in the house somewhere....I actually sent out cards this year-I think it's been 2 decades since I did that!!!The chickadee painting is really nice....

    What a pretty soft glow from your charming Christmas tree... I like the ribbon wrapped around it...very pretty.If it gives you any comfort...I still have cards to do too. Love your bird....if I was your neighbor I would visit and you could share some more of your art with me... :)
