May's Arrival

With the arrival of May the garden starts to burst with color.  The tulips begin to put on quite a show.  Virginia bluebells have settled in every nook and cranny.
They are quite neighborly with the daffodils.

Creeping phlox has started clambering over the banks.

Sweet violets cover woodland paths.   They are such a favorite of mine.

May certainly brings an abundance of flowering gifts.   I am so glad you stopped by to see it arrive.

Have a blessed day!

  2. Hello Debbie, it's been too long since my last visit. loving the photos, so much like my own garden here, tulips, bluebells and the last of the daffs, so beautiful. I love this time of year and looking at your images, I would say you are fond too. The sunshine makes you just want to pick up those brushes. xx

  10. Debbie, this is so pretty! I would love to walk down that path! I adore violets and someday soon they will appear in my yard also. Your painting catches them at their peak and preserves their perfection. Our weather here is almost a month behind you now and in southeastern MN some areas just got almost ten or more inches of snow! Thank you for this lovely glimpse of spring, I look forward to more!
