Never Grow Old

There are certain things that never grow old.

Like a morning sunrise...

a cheery flower bed...

a basket full of  sun ripened tomatoes...

  a faithful companion...

a good book or two...

and last but not least your visits and sweet comments!

Have a wonderful week.  Hugs - Debbie

Pleasant Moments

The outdoor studio was calling me to come play this past Saturday.  It was sunny and so pleasant.  The birds were singing and the bees buzzing.  .

 The flowers were blooming...

and the butterflies visiting.

How quickly time flies when one is engaged in something that brings joy.

Hope each of you found some pleasant moments to enjoy.

Hugs

Mist

Morning's mist never fails to capture my attention.

This misty phenomenon gives a ghostly appearance to the landscape.

I find myself seeking certain points of reference to make out what I know is there hiding.

Perhaps this is much of how we live our lives.  We view happenings from an obscured perspective.  We search for guidance while we wait for clarity.

Waiting is hard.  Yet, it is in the mist we learn to wait.  We find faith and strength  knowing the sun will rise... a new day is on its way.  What is hidden will be revealed and the mist will lift.

God Bless - Everyone have a wonderful week.   Hugs - Debbie

A Certain Vibe

August has a certain vibe.  It does not take the turn of the calendar to let one know it has arrived.

For many years it was one of the least favorite months for me.  There was the realization that summer was winding down and the holiday spirit that marked the beginning of the season was disappearing.

Now though, I have come to appreciate August.  I welcome the cicadas and the crickets' songs.  When night comes they remind me that they have been missing up until this time.

The appearance of Queen Anne's Lace,

purple iron weed popping up and

these apples getting ready to drop are all incredible blessings that come during August's visit.

Also all the hard work that was done in the early months is beginning to bear fruit.

Yes friends, each moment we must look for joy because these days follow the last and they too will pass.

So let us celebrate August.  God Bless!

Time to Rest

This busy season of the year makes it hard to find time to rest.  Everything seems to need attention all at once. The garden...  laundry......
