Quick pop up storms come. They leave - waving good bye with a rainbow.
The flowers continue to change almost daily. Pink poppies and larkspur with orange daylilies replace the fading peonies.
Jackmanii clematis is climbing higher with each passing day. It will continue to bloom through the next few weeks.
Something that is not changing is this fellow...He still wants to play. In fact with daylight being longer - he thinks outdoor fun should be extended. Guess I am feeling the same too.
Hope you all have a blessed week. Please share what transformations you are seeing with summer's arrival.
Hugs
Debbie
"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Romans 12:2a (NIV)
Oh, how I love that rainbow, Debbie. Thank you for sharing that this morning. Everything is spring in your area, and looks like summer is on its way. Those clouds are beautiful. We had a few thunderstorms, and the rain is always much needed here. Your dog sure looks content, and look at all that area for him to roam! Have a blessed June week.
ReplyDelete**no, I've never been to Greece. I was supposed to go on that trip, but couldn't make it. Nel is planning another trip somewhere else for us to go on. She loves to travel. Me, not so much. ; )
Can't say that I blame that sweet fur baby for wanting more play time.
ReplyDeleteOh your garden is so beautiful! Today is the first day of a coming heat wave, so my days will start early with a siesta in the afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI think we are coming out of the rainy days phase and heading into the simply hot phase here in central Texas.
ReplyDeleteLove the plants and your sweet baby!

"Waving good-bye with a rainbow." How I love the photo and the imagery your words add to it, Debbie! Summer is definitely here; we are getting lots of rain and are so grateful for it. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, enjoyed the photos rainbow so pretty.
ReplyDeleteI set up a new blog this week-again-haha hoping it will work this time, kept it very simple I do still have issues leaving comments so hoping this one will post https://kathysdoingslake.blogspot.com/
He certainly looks ready for action! Who can blame him, with all that room to roam and play.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie....Your peonies are lovely....all the flowers you have are. Isn't this a glorious time of year? I hope your weekend is super blessed. Thanks for your visits to Writing Straight from the Heart and your comments, too. Susan
ReplyDeleteSame here- my front garden is overflowing and crowded. I like to see a little mulch between plants but I didn't get them divided enough this year.
ReplyDeleteMy pups are loving this weather and being outside.
I never saw pink poppies before this year. They are beautiful. I also saw some yellow ones which I have never seen either. xo Diana
I envy that you have a garden and can watch as the flowers change as the season goes along. Lovely to see what you are noticing. I don't think I've ever seen pink poppies, but had the pleasure of painting at a poppy field last week. Have a wonderul weekend!
ReplyDeleteLife is a circle - you are either going up or down - sometimes staying the same - yet ALWAYS changing.
