Because Thanksgiving arrives this month in America, I am practicing the art of being thankful. As always there are many blessings to count and it is nice to take time and focus on a few during November. I know our friends and neighbors in Canada celebrate this holiday as well. They just are a wee bit earlier...October. To all my blogging buddies there - hope you had a lovely celebration.
So without further ado I will share some special gifts I found yesterday.
Sheets blowing in the autumn breeze...Chrysanthemums still holding on...
Preparing next year's garden patch with the companionship of a sweet helper.
a favorite view from our driveway...
our special boy Gunnar - hard to believe we have had him for over a year.
Lastly a lovely moon.
Hope you enjoyed your visit. I am always so thankful for each and everyone of you.
Have a lovely start to November.
Hugs
Debbie

Oh, Debbie, that moon photo is simply the best! You've hit upon my latest blog post describing November as a time or give thanks to God for all His provisions, even in the seemingly smallest of things. Love that your dog is keeping you company as you can give thanks for that, too. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteAnd of course we are thankful for you.......
ReplyDeleteLots of wonderful things to be thankful for.
ReplyDeleteWith your Thanksgiving on the horizon, Christmas isn’t far behind. This year has flown!
ReplyDeleteSiempre es muy agradable pasar por tu blog y disfrutar de todo aquello que nos muestras.

Saludos.
And thank you for your beautiful photos! Lovely view from your driveway!
ReplyDeleteI love it when people share their lists of grateful things. We are all different yet alike in being grateful. So, you let the air dry your sheets. That is so cool. I bet they smell good. And your little helpers that keep you company. I love the moon photograph too. Lucky gal.
ReplyDeleteI always have a long slow breath when I come over to your blog as it is always so serene. An infectious calm, that is something that I am thankful for. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie best of luck for art practice 👍♥️

Debbie, thank you for being here for all of us, and providing a calming, peaceful place for our minds to rest. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful things to practice the art of being thankful. Wishing you a lovely November, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice post of thankfulness, Debbie. I haven't seen sheets drying on a clothes line in a long time. It's always a wonderful sight to me. You have lots of golden colors on the trees in your area. It's a good thing to be thankful. I read one time that grateful people are the happiest people. I believe that is true. Gunnar looks curious in that picture. And I love the last verse you shared with us. It's a special one for sure.
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful November, Debbie.
