How quickly the month of May came and went. It was here and in a blink it was gone. This year we were unusually cool and wet.
In spite of the weather the birds sang, the flowers bloomed and the grass grew.
I worked on a few small paintings (100 small painting challenge) when it was too wet to work in the garden.
Even found a bit of time to read.
"Help is Here" by Max Lucado was wonderful...Creative Abstract Watercolor by Kate Rebecca Leach will inspire you to paint and doodle...The Secret Keeper by Kate Morton I just started and within the first chapter I was hooked.

When the sun shone these two kept me busy outdoors.
Well hope all of you had a good May as it came and went.
May June bring you joy.

Hi Debbie, your photos and paintings are beautiful. I love ❤️ the Scripture verse at the end of your post. Thank you 😊 so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteNow I am going to look up The Secret Keeper.
ReplyDeleteI do love that bible verse from Ecclesiastes. A wise heart. I wish I had a wiser heart.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the Secret Keeper about?
Love your two pups!
Your garden is breath taking - so pretty.
Are you saying you painted 100 small paintings this month - all were unique and pretty.
Lovely photos we had cooler weather for the most part and so much rain in May-rain is good though-lots more rain coming in tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteHappy June
It did go by really fast. We had the same type of weather here. I love your paintings.
ReplyDeleteYou spent your time in May well! Love the paintings and flowers and dogs--all happy things. I hope June is just as wonderful a month.
ReplyDeleteI used to watch Max Lucado shows, and I really enjoyed them. Always something good and positive in his message. Your dogs are loving the sunshine. Your garden bunny is so cute. The verse you shared spoke to me today; thank you, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteI hope the June days are kind to you.

It was cold and wet here in May too. This month has been windy and cold so far. I hope your June has lovely weather.
ReplyDeleteMay seems to have passed so quickly. The weather wasn't springlike. I hope that June will be an imrovement but we've had a lot of wind and colder than normal days...except it changed today and it was absolutely beautiful. It looks like you found things in May to keep you busy and content. I hope your June is off to a good start!
ReplyDeleteLove your paintings! And the rabbit peeping from the flowers is so sweet! Have a great start of June!
ReplyDeleteClimate change, ... hehehehe
ReplyDeleteWalk by faith not by sight.
