With March less than a week away and a warm up arriving, it is time to make some spring plans. I am looking forward to a new season. Bet most of you who live in the northern hemisphere are feeling the same.
At the top of my list of plans is getting this puppy trained. He is 7 months old and growing fast. He officially starts class in two weeks. Will he be perfect after six sessions? Most likely not. Hopefully though he will be on his way. :)!!
These heirloom seed packets caught my attention while shopping at our local Dollar General Market last week. Had to bring them home with me. Time to get some things for the garden started.
Drawing these flowers got me planning a painting...
and also finishing this one!
Well these are just a few spring plans. Are you making some too. Please share! Have a great week

Hope all goes well with the puppy training
ReplyDeleteI would love to have a garden but it's so much work and I'm not very good at being consistent with tending to it.
Love your painting. That's really pretty
The I bet you are getting ready for spring. So does the puppy training house breaking or what exactly. I want to get a dog, but I don't know about house training it. You painting is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's about that time to make Spring plans, isn't it? I'm glad you had a little warmth in this season, Debbie. We've also had some sun, but winter is not over for us yet, as we may get more snow and rain in March. I hope the training goes well for your dog. That's never easy. Your seed packets will be good for planting soon. I love Dollar General, and find things there all the time, especially with the holidays. Your drawings are exquisite, and what a talent you have. And that hummingbird! How beautiful that turned out. Here's to Spring days coming up, Debbie!

Mmmm...tomatoes and basil...that's my kind of garden. It looks like you have been busy planning. A puppy to train sounds like an ineresting undertaking. What is his name? I hope you get to enjoy the milder weather soon! Have a special week.
ReplyDeleteGood evening, I love your art! I was thinking the same-time to start a few seeds soon Feels so good to finally get a decent warm up-loving that-I have been so cold this winter
ReplyDeleteHappy new week Hugs
I really like your flower sketching and painting. Gorgeous. We don't get much spring here, just hot and hotter. So when we have nice springlike days, I just enjoy! We will enjoy the wildflowers the end of March. And Longhorn Baseball. Thanks for the start.....
ReplyDeleteI'm willing to bet Gunner has picked up quite a bit from Kelsey already. I am starting to sort out my seeds too, hopefully to start planting in a couple of weeks. This winter feels like it has gone on forever but today the sun shines after a storm and everything is so much brighter. Best wishes for a warmer week.
ReplyDeleteThe paintings are beautiful! You are ready for spring. I am looking forward to our first picnic. It will be some time yet!
ReplyDeleteReading about your puppy training took me back to my last dog. She came from a rescue centre and had been so badly abused she was terrified of men. Training was more about teaching her that we're not all bad and winning her trust. It was a challenge, that's for sure.
ReplyDeletePS - for some reason I don't get the option to use my Google account - hope this gets there.
Love the flower drawing! And hummingbird and hollyhocks, beautiful! A few sunny and warmer days had me cleaning my balcony, making it ready for my plantpots.
ReplyDeleteWonderful plans! I love the hummingbird. And when you get the puppy trained, please come down here and help me train my 7-year-old dog, lol.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe it is almost March already! Your puppy is so cute! You will have to keep us updated on how training goes. I am getting ready to start some spring cleaning next month & just scheduled a professional carpet cleaning so I have that to look forward to. Can't wait for the warmer weather!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful artwork! Just lovely. We are hearing birds singing in their springtime voices now. I hope doggie training will go well!
