Valentine's Day

Whew it is hard to believe Valentine's day is just around the corner.   Where did January go??

The winter has been kind here in my "neck of the woods".  Not much snow.  The temperatures have been - for the most part - above normal for this time of the year.

By February 14th one can see that the days are beginning to grow longer. This does not make me sad :)!

The above photo is of last year's poinsettia re-blooming.  For many years I have kept these flowers alive but have never successfully had one bloom red again.  How appropriate - just in time for Valentine's day.  Hope everyone has a lovely one.

Hugs

Debbie

P.S. I want to thank each of you who visited last week and left an encouraging word.  God Bless!

"Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered.  It keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails."  1 Cor. 13:4-8a (NIV)

  1. How wonderful. I have never got a poinsettia to reflower. Wishing you a happy Valentine's Day. We don't really celebrate it anymore but it's still a good reminder to be extra nice to each other.

  2. Oh my, I didn't know poinsettias re-bloomed a year later. The red is so pretty. Debbie, one of my daughters' favorite verses is the "love is patient" one. Thank you for letting me hear it again today. Happy Valentine's Day. : )

  4. Your poinsetta looks so healthy. We too are having above normal temps this winter. We are also having above average rain. I don't mind that because we have been in a moderate drought the past few years. Have a great week.

  5. Its so hard to believe your poinsettia is still going strong. You have magical hands. On Valentines Day, I will be getting Cataract surgery so I won't be painting for awhile since I work with pastels so keep posting these beautiful flowers for me....Happy Valentines Day my friend.

  6. So cool! I've never had one rebloom, either. I've had much better luck with Christmas cactus.

  14. My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough. here is his Email: emutemple@gmail.com or call/text him on his WhatsApp +2347012841542
