came to Jerusalem and asked "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him." (Matt: 2:1-2) NIV

Good Morning! This is my first visit to your lovely blog and I am enjoying it so much that I plan to follow after typing this :) I too, believe that there is beauty all around us in all the ordinary places that we need to just slow down and appreciate. It's so easy to get on life's roller-coaster and miss so much. Retirement is a lovely cure for that, LOL.
ReplyDeleteWell, I have a sick husband that is sleeping in this morning and after seeing your apple cinnamon tart (a few posts down) I've decided to get in the kitchen and bake one to surprise him today. I have these amazing jars of Amish pie filling that I canned this fall from a new canning book that I purchased on-line. They are so good and will make a great tart. Thank you for the inspiration.
