Out of the Nest

Look who made it out of the nest!

What a face?

Perhaps next year this one will return to build it's own nest...maybe close by.

Hope all of you will be back too.   Have a delightful week.

Hugs Debbie

    1. Sandi - I do feel a bit sad knowing they are gone from the nest...one of them didn't make it - which makes me even sadder.

  3. Sweet. I hope they have plenty of time to mature before they have to migrate. It seems that all of our robins have dispersed. They will be back when the Hawthorn and Beauty Berries ripen. I hate to see them go. Their song and activity in the garden makes the garden even more pleasurable. I hope you have a good week too.

    1. Lisa - I am a bit sad seeing the nest empty. They will be missed for sure. I have been told that not all the robins migrate from here. In fact I have seen them in February. Well take care. I hopped over to see your lovely garden.

    1. Dear Carol I am sorry to say it was found dead on the ground. I didn't want to think about it. At least this little one made it. Nature can be sad.

  13. I love those speckled ones. The year we had a nest of Robins in our pole barn they had 7 speckled chicks who hung around while they grew up and we would see them in the back yard nearly every day. It was such fun. Unfortunately none for us this year. Have a great weekend.
