December certainly brought a lovely gift... a super moon. Hubby and I enjoyed an evening walk beneath this beautiful light. What a great way to start the Christmas season. May all of you enjoy it too! Have a "Super" week.

Preparing for Change
I have been spending time preparing for change. The photo here was taken this afternoon - sunny with temperatures being near 60. Tonight...
That's right! It is a super moon right now.. What a breathtaking sight in the dark of the night.

ReplyDeleteI was on my way home from work when I saw it coming up behind the mountains. I pulled over and called my hubby so he wouldn't miss it.
We had mist around it also... just like yours.
After supper we took our walk and marvelled at how much light it cast.

Good for you for going outside to see it. As I was getting in to bed, the moon was lighting up my room! It was really rather peaceful. What a lovely gift.

ReplyDeleteThe super moon was very photogenic! How sweet that you all took a moon walk... I saw it above a big bonfire and caroling at a nearby beach, it floated through clouds, as if not wanting to take the glory away from the fire...

I didn't know it was a super moon, but it sure was beautiful for about 3 days in a row (and still pretty, but waning, now). Sometimes just pure nature inspires and thrills us in ways we can't understand (and don't need to understand, just enjoy). Thanks for sharing - have a wonderful Christmas!
