The decorations are down and put away. The gifts are unwrapped. Those that did not fit have been returned.
There are only a few remnants of Christmas that remain.
A blue poinsettia...
some leftover cookies....
and best of all...
loving memories that will live on until Christmas comes again.
Hope all of you have some remnants to enjoy as well. God Bless and Have a Very Happy New Year!
It's nice to look back on happy times spent together with family & friends. I've never seen a blue poinsettia before, I hope it stays in flower for a long time keeping your happy memories fresh for you. I'm so pleased to have met you through your blog and having you popping in to see what I've been doing. I wish you & your family a very Happy New Year for 2014.

Took down my decorations today. The house looks quite bare,
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel about a blue poinsettia. I have never seen one before.
It looks nice in the pic but I have seen bright blue orchids and they make me shudder. Much too obviously as a dye job. I know you have lovely taste so if you picked it... I know it must be okay.
Hope your New Year will be the best yet for you and those you love.
I do love the cardinal ornament.
God bless you too dear friend -- a wonderful, peaceful new year to you and yours :)
