"The first Noel the angel did say was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; in fields where they lay keeping their sheep, on a cold winter's night that was so deep. Noel, Noel, Noel,
Born is the King of Israel."
Since this is my last post before the 25th I am wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas. May it be filled with the love and joy of the season. God Bless!
Acorns and oak leaves on the ground... Black walnuts for winter baking... a final harvest of veggies... and a few asters bravely blooming. November may be cold and gray but it still brings its own special brand of blessings. Hope all of you are blessed this week. Hugs Debbie "The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace." Psalm 29:11 (NIV)
I enjoy a rainy Sunday afternoon. This Sunday was one of those. Before the rain arrived (yeah for rain) the shepherds and I walked around savoring what was growing. The Day lilies are in full swing this month. There are pink and magenta... peach... and warm buttery yellow. Looks like there is going to be a great crop of green beans coming our way as well as tomatoes. Can hardly wait till the first one ripens. The much needed moisture is a welcome blessing. It also gave me extra time to spend in the studio. Maybe some of you will share what you do on a rainy Sunday afternoon. Have a great week. Hugs, Debbie "Some time later the brook dried up because there had been no rain in the land." 1 Kings 17:7 (NIV)
Friends I am taking a break for a couple of weeks. Summer is in full swing and the garden is calling to me. Hope to be back in July. God Bless and have a wonderful rest of the month. Hugs Debbie "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener." John 15:1 (NIV)
