Spooky

From a far it looked rather spooky.

Getting closer didn't make it seem less so.

Coming along side of it...

one could see it wasn't moving.

Was it a trick?

No its a treat!

A giant mushroom waiting to be found.

Hope there are no tricks and only treats for you.    Happy Halloween!

  1. Is that a puff ball mushroom? They did a story a week or so about them, saying they were delicious. It does look a bit spooky!

  9. My hubby is a bus driver and donned an Elvis wig for work today. Other drivers dressed as clowns, goth, and vampires. What a fun way to transport folks around town.

Wow, that is some BIG mushroom. It would have kept me guessing what it was until I got close too. Have a great day.

  14. Hope you had a Happy Halloween. What a large mushroom or perhaps a very little foot. We had a massive greyish muchroom that I poked and it was full of powder, very odd.

  17. I love your scarecrow display sat in the trees. Seeing the large pumpkins at the shop or farm , what a gorgeous selection to choose from. I have just been admiring all the lovely old buildings you visit and the countryside where you live. Autumn will bring glorious colours to your trees. Here we would call that a horse mushroom, as big as a dinner plate. Lovely post. X
