Gather Together

Here in America this week many of us will gather together to celebrate Thanksgiving.

There is something special about sharing a meal, conversation and gratefulness with family and friends.

For me personally it is a favorite holiday of the year.   I love all the traditional dishes this season brings...especially pie!!

The laughter shared, stories told and good memories make the day a big part of gratitude which enriches the spirit.

In considering the gathering together I am reminded of an old hymn that is a Netherlands Folk song.  Hope you enjoy.

God Bless and have a wonderful holiday and week.

Debbie

  12. Happy Thanksgiving, Debbie! I'm very curious about your pretty platter, wondering if it's big or small (hard to tell since I'm not sure if the vase is big or small either) and I wonder if it has a family story. :)

I want you to know that one of the things I am thankful for this year is having you as a friend. You've inspired me, taught me to look up. And for that I thank you.
