A Rainy Afternoon

Sometimes a quiet rainy afternoon can be a blessing.

Yesterday was one.

Originally I had planned to do some much needed gardening.

The weather had other plans.

So instead I spent those sweet hours sketching a gathered bouquet...

 reading an inspiring book...

Experimenting with a new pen the Elegant Writer...

and savoring the freshness that comes from the passing showers.

Thank you for letting me share what I did with a rainy afternoon.   Hope you will do the same.

Have a lovely week.

Hugs Debbie

Blooming

Here are a few pics of what has been blooming at Harmony Hills this past week.

Orange tulips with Virginia Bluebells... they make a lovely pair.

These pink azaleas always tell me spring is in full swing.

A few of the later variety of daffodils are still bringing cheer along the woodland path.

Pink Bleeding hearts never fail to to bring joy to mine.

The sweet scent of lilacs always evoke precious memories of my Grandmother.  They were a favorite of hers.

Well there you have it friends.   Hope you enjoyed the garden tour.   Thanks for letting me share what has been blooming here.

Have a Blessed Week!

...He Lives

"Because He lives  I can face tomorrow; Because He lives all fear is gone; Because I know He holds the future, And life is worth the living just because He lives."   Gloria Gaither & William Gaither

"Why do you look for the living among the dead?  He is not here; He has risen!  Luke 24:5b (NIV)

"The Old Rugged Cross"

Holy week always brings to mind an old hymn written by George Bennard "The Old Rugged Cross".

Alan Jackson does a beautiful job with this beloved song.   Hope you all enjoy it.

Have a blessed week.

It is the time of the year when I begin to sow seeds for the coming season.  Discovered a different method on You Tube...they call it "...
