Daily life of a Country Artist
It has been raining cats and dogs. Son and his little family came for a rare visit. They will be moving back this summer and told me today they are having a new little one in December. So happy for them.
Debbie, Glad you enjoy my little trips around Florida, just as I enjoy seeing your posts.. I can't tell you how many times you've lifted my spirits. Thank you my friend.
What a nice way to spend a rainy afternoon! Love the sketch of the bouquet and the sketch with the Elegant Writer. You got a nice effect! I hope the weather the rest of the week gives you some time to do some gardening. I was off painting at the New York Botanical Gardens today. The flowers and trees in bloom were just incredible. Enjoy!
Absolutely gorgeous, Debbie!!! It was raining here as well today. Love and hugs to you. I love your art!
It was such a delight to see your gorgeous drawings Debbie. It's always wonderful to have our art to turn to when plans go awry :D)

I love those rainy, drippy days when it's wet and chilly and not a day to be outside, and I tell myself it's okay to put some chores aside. You made some good choices, Debbie. A delightful post!
Those rainy days do make good days to enjoy inside and create something pretty, as you've done! And the garden will wait! ha ha
I love rainy afternoons but we probably won't have any of them before September/ October.
Beautiful work, Debbie! Rainy days here as well.
