I have been spending these past couple of weeks finishing up a few winter projects. My last post must have been a memo to the robins. They are back as well as the red-winged blackbirds. The weather this week has certainly turned the corner. The forecast for Friday is 70 degrees...wow what a change!
Speaking of finishing ... am pleased to say that the 100 small painting challenge was completed by March. Am thinking about starting another year of doing the same. Instead of small though - may branch out to a larger format. Will keep you posted.Just finished reading this wonderful book by Seth Lewis "The Language of Rivers and Stars." For all those who study nature and enjoy spending time outdoors...this book is sure to please.
Well as you can see - am moving into spring now that winter is hopefully finished with us! Of course one knows that spring can be a teaser.
Thanks for taking time to stop by. Have a good finish to your week.
Hugs
Debbie

Dear Debbie, your painting is gorgeous and that's a lovely jigsaw puzzle.
ReplyDeleteThat jigsaw puzzle is HUGE! I also like your paintings and feel you should keep them up. 70 degrees is nice. We are warm too.
ReplyDeleteYour paintings are wonderful. 70 would be wonderful. I think the highest we have for the next week is 50 but I'll take it.
ReplyDeleteGood morning I am hoping to plant lots of flower seeds to this year-they bring in butterflies and hummingbirds. when I was a child growing up we always had a table set up for puzzles. later I still did some and even framed a few. Now I do puzzles almost every day on jigsaw planet-
ReplyDeleteLove your paintings very much don't stop-hugs
We are getting lots of rain here yesterday and most of last night-spring is near hugs
I love your paintings, Debbie. What a talent you have! Yes, spring is happening here, too, as our temps are definitely getting warmer and the trees are budding. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteFinishing things we started is always a good thing, Debbie. You must be happy and relieved. Amazing you finished that puzzle. Your art work is so pretty. I love those seed packets, and how fun you are getting ready to plant a few of them. When my sister-in-law passed, I received several forget me not packets. I never planted them, but the seed packets alone are delightful. I keep them to remember her. Thank you for this gentle reminder with that verse you shared today. It's a special one. Happy March Debbie!
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, your artwork is beautiful! And I am going to find that book-thank you! We are loving the warmer weather-even the rain. It smells like spring!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, congratulations on finishing the 100 paintings. The ones that you've shown are lovely. That's quite an accomplishment! It is good to have a goal motivating you. I'm hoping that spring is moving in with the time change this weekend. A lot of our snow has melted due to warmer days and some rain. I'm ready to see flowers! Enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love your paintings, wow, 100! And that sounds like a wonderful book. Warmer weather over here as well, it lifts the spirit. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDear Debbie heartfelt and big congratulations for accomplishment of your 100 small drawings challenge 👍🤗♥️
ReplyDeleteI feel proud of you genuinely my friend 🥹♥️
I loved this blue butterfly wow such a stunning art 😍
So happy that spring has arrived around the corner ☺️
The sounds lovely and one of the my favourites I believe 🥰
Best wishes for spring planting 🙏♥️
Lovely paintings. It's good to have a challenge.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the paintings, they are so beautiful. Puzzle looks fun, I like those. Daughter and I were talking about how there are so few bluebonnets and flowers so far and when we drove back home there is a little clump growing the crack in the driveway! I hadn't noticed. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteLove those pieces you painted. Beautiful! We’ve had rain so spring is even arriving here!
ReplyDelete*Yes, Debbie, I've seen the waterfalls in all the seasons, and I have gone more during the warmer weather, but that's when it gets crowded. I always try to be there first thing. Autumn is not too crowded, and there was only two couples there in the winter when I visited. But it is an attraction to see in California for sure, and people come from all over, so the summers get a bit too crowded for me. But they are spectacular, and I feel blessed to live so close from them. : )
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful paintings! The puzzle looks great, too.
ReplyDeleteBusy week! I love seeing your paintings, will we get to see them all together on your blog? I do hope so. 100 is a big achievement and well worth celebrating. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteDid you do all 100 paintings since January?? That's impressive. The book sounds appealing--I'll have to look for it at my library.
