Weary

Are some of you like me...winter weary?    If so...thought maybe I would go back a few years and share some past spring photos.

How about a few Pussy willows...

a crocus or two...

or a garden of yellow daffodils.

Nothing says spring has arrived without a robin.  Hope these pictures reminded you that winter is almost past and nicer days are on their way.

Hugs!

Debbie

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest."  Matt: 11:28 (NIV)

  1. Oh Debbie, I have to say that winter is one of my favorite seasons up here, and we just had a big snow. So, I'm not weary with the season, but I can get weary with things of the world sometimes. So, I appreciate the verse today, and it is actually one of my favorite ones.
Your blossoms are so pretty, and I just saw a Robin on my front yard today. ; ) I wish you a pleasant remainder of February, Debbie.

  3. I forgot to mention 😅 I love Winter, cold 🥶 weather and snow ❄️
It's only the ice that concerns me because I don't want to fall.
Thank you so much for sharing.

  4. It is hard to think about spring with 16+ inches of fresh snow outside. lol I can't complain since it hasn't yet been much of an inconvenience for me. But I am looking forward to seeing the emerging flowers that will be peeking out of the ground. I hope you didn't get too much snow. Take care and enjoy!

  6. My cousins live in Massachusetts and are so thankful that they didn't lose power in this blizzard. Their snowfall is record breaking. Here in Georgia, our temperatures have dipped, but won't stay below freezing for long. The daffodils are already going strong. Thank you, Debbie, for reminding us that spring is not as far away as we might think. Blessings!

  7. I love your pictures showing that spring is right around the corner. The pussywillows, crocuses, and daffodils are sure indications of spring. We are really starting to bloom down here. The pear trees are coming out - all white and all pink. Then the pollen will start coming out everywhere - I don't miss that. But spring here is a blessing not a season.

  9. Did you get hit from that latest blizzard that went to the east coast? I am so thankful we didn't get a lot of snow here this winter-shoveling heavy snow is getting to be too much for me now. I won't share what our spring temps will be this week hugs thinking of you loved seeing the robin. we see very few robins where I live in Missouri-I do miss them Hugs Kathy

  15. Winter weary here...well more weary of sliding through the mud. The daffodils are braving it and glowing though so it can't be much longer. Wishing you sunshine a little warmth to chase the cold away.
