Today I would like to share some encouraging words.
There are many of us who have at some time or another hit a rough patch in life. Most likely all who are reading these lines have encountered a challenge or two along the way.
It is hard when we are looking closely at our circumstances and trials to think of "looking up".
I am reminded of Peter in the Bible...He sees the Lord walking on the water and at first he is frightened. When he realizes it is Jesus - he becomes courageous and steps out of the boat - begins to walk on the water toward Him. As Peter becomes aware of the wind and the waves he looks down and all he can see is deep water and darkness. At that point he begins to sink and fear for his life. He calls out "Lord save me". Immediately the blessed hand of the Lord reaches out and lifts Peter up.
We too may have been bravely "walking on water" when suddenly the storm billows of life cause us to look down and lose our faith. I believe if one chooses to "look up" there is a loving hand reaching out to lift us up to safety. "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians: 4:18
Thank you for letting me share some encouraging words today.
Have a wonderful week.
Hugs
Debbie

ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful and meaningful post, Debbie! I especially think the seen/unseen sentence from scripture is particularly touching.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, those birds are Yellow-billed Magpies. I see them around here a lot. They are black and white with a blue tail and a big yellow beak. They're pretty, and they seem to not be afraid when I take pictures of them. But like all birds, they are cautious when they see my camera. Have a peaceful weekend.
ReplyDelete~Sheri
Sheri - thank you for telling me about those birds. They are truly lovely. Hope your weekend is peaceful too. Hugs!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Debbie, we humans need encouragement often...
ReplyDeleteMy ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough. here is his Email: emutemple@gmail.com or call/text him on his WhatsApp +2347012841542
