Grateful

Today I am grateful for the sparrows that visit...

the thin blanket of snow that covers the woodland floor...

the fragrant aroma of cinnamon and baked apples...

the time to tangle indoors

while outdoors winter comes a little early.

May everyone who is celebrating Thanksgiving this week have a blessed one.  To my all my friends everywhere hope you are finding lovely gifts of gratefulness.

Hugs Debbie

  5. What a great post. Everything I like...birds, beautiful pics, food, well almost everything... if you had put in the two dogs then that would have been perfect! Hope you are behaving and recovering. I see the zen-tangles showing that you must be sitting down sometimes but then I see the pie!
Have a blessed week and please do as the doc says.

  17. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. I hope you have a wonderful time.

Beautiful pictures - it feels too early to see snow. Is it early for where you are? It has been very mild here but very wet. I have a hard job remembering that it is mid November.

....and now I must bake some apples :o)

  19. I love your little photo of the sweet sparrows. Your winter weather has arrived early, as I write to you I see grey white clouds that create a dismal day here. Yet in the quietness there is a beauty too in the grey. It is as if everything in nature is resting and waiting for something to happen. Will the sun come out, will the rain fall, will the wind blow all the remaining leaves off the trees? The few flowering shrubs are so bright and cheerful and refuse to not flower! one is bright yellow, another pink! they bring the joy to the day. Best wishes to you. Caroline in Scotland
