Peaceful Place

This past week I got to spend some time in my peaceful place...the studio.

Seems like this time of the year one begins to long for spring and the special little treasures that the new season will bring.  It is always nice to pull out some old photos and be reminded that soon the weather will warm and the flowers will start to bloom.

Pansies and Violas are such favorites that it is hard to resist not wanting to paint them.

As I have shared before I always plant a few in memory of my dear grandma.   It just wouldn't be spring at Harmony Hills if there were not some of these special ones growing near by.

Speaking about a Peaceful Place I hope that if you have never visited Linda at Linda's Peaceful Place you will take a few minutes and stop over for a few delightful minutes.   She has the most wonderful videos and uplifting quotes.   You will certainly have a wonderful time.   I know I always do.

Hope sweet friends you have a blessed
week.

Hugs Debbie

It's always a good thing to have some hope for a brighter day isn't it? Spring is probably just around the corner and looking at the photos can remind you that it won't always be gray and cold:)

  19. Hello Debbie, your painting is very beautiful; I can see you are a talented artist. Pansies and Violas remind me of my grandma and my dad. They both loved them, and I do too.
I visit Linda every week and never fail to feel better for it.
There are signs of spring everywhere today, blossom on the trees, lots of daffodils and I even saw a few rockery plants beginning to flower. It can’t come soon enough for me.
Thank you for this lovely blog post, Barbara x
