Joys of June

The joys of June are rich with the sights, smells and sounds of this lovely time of the year.

Naturally flowers provide a wonderful display of color.  Larkspur fills the garden with continual bouquets.

(Notice my shadow)

The sweet smell of hay evokes memories of all my summers growing up on the farm.

The sound of rain and the rumble of thunder in the distance -

often leaves us with the beauty of God's promise...His rainbow.

Thank you for visiting and allowing us to share some of June's joys.  Have a wonderful day.

Hugs from Harmony Hills

  1. Love your two pups there.
I didn't know the name of the flowers in the first photo - but they are Larkspurs. I was thinking Iris's. What do I know?
    I see your shadow.
So, you had some rain and thunder - which brought that BEASUTIFUL rainbow. I love rainbows.
    And I like John 16:24!

  5. I have fond memories of hay rides through the cove back to the barn from the field. Farm life had its appeal.

  8. That Larkspur is beautiful in your yard, Debbie. Rain is always a good thing, and your dogs look content sitting there and enjoying the outdoors. I believe that when we see a rainbow it is a gift. Thank you for the rainbow today on your blog. Have a happy summer week.

  11. Bom dia, Debbie

  14. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos - it’s too bad we can’t have smell-o-vision on them to smell the wonderful smells of summer. Now if we can just ease up a bit on the heat!! But those rainbows are so beautiful!!!
