The crocus are beginning to bloom...
This one lone snowdrop is working its way up through the remaining fallen leaves.
The violas that hubby brought to me last spring are coming out of their long winter's sleep.
Yes friends I am seeing signs of spring.
May all of you who have experienced ice and snow and zero temps be seeing those signs as well.
Have a blessed week.
Debbie
"Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come, the cooing of doves is heard in our land." Song of Songs 2:12 (NIV)
Gros bisous
Yes, the doves are singing and the flowers are beginning to bloom. Such a lovely time in the garden.
ReplyDeleteI can never get violas to return. Love em tho and plant them every spring. Cheers and have a great week.
TERRIFIC, Deb -- yes -- spring is coming --- not soon enough for me though!
ReplyDeleteSoon I hope but not yet...sadly.. it’s 24 degrees out right now but going up to 36...
ReplyDeleteI will be looking closer...lol
Enjoy your day.
Debbie, the violas are so pretty, and such a beautiful color. Glad they're starting to sprout up for you right now. I've always thought the snowdrops were interesting flowers. Speaking of snow.....it is falling as I write. I guess Spring comes a bit later here in the mountains. But when I look outside, everything is covered in white, and all is calm and still, and I appreciate the beauty of each season when it comes.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, Debbie.

ReplyDeleteCrocus and snowdrops--such pretty harbingers of spring. I imagine you're feeling very excited about the change of season.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, there are signs around here so well and as we say spring the blood alters, birds begin to come, the field extends its green mantle, and the flowers begin to peek.
