"Happy Place"

Yesterday I found some time to visit my "Happy Place".  It is nice to enjoy a few hours of down time doing something one loves.

We have fortunately had a very warm winter with little snow.  This weekend brought  a change.  Windy - cold - and some white stuff made indoors quite welcome.  Made a pot of chili...built a fire...and enjoyed a cozy afternoon in the studio.  Yes it was nice to be in my "Happy Place".

Hope you will take a few moments and share your "Happy Place". Would love to hear about yours.

Have a lovely week.

Hugs

Debbie

  3. Beautiful paintings, Debbie!
My 'happy place' are my morning walks to the river, in my home town. And, still in the process of clearing out old stuff, I am turning a small bedroom into a studio. I'm sure that will be a very happy place!

  4. It is really nice to go to our happy place - I love your sketches and painting Debbie.
Mine was deciding not to worry about what my next painting was going to be, but rather to paint some backgrounds in readiness for when inspiration hits! Still feel as though I've had a lovely time with the paints.
Cheers now (as I type am happily listening to rain bucketing down - hooray!!) xx

  6. I'm lucky enough to have several happy places--my home office, which is painted lavender, filled with books, and has a big bright window and purry, furry cat (usually). Second, the barn where Tank lives. I can feel all my cares lift when I go out to see him. And third, the library--I always feel instantly happier when I step inside.

  8. My happy place was placed in the cold when the furnace went out today. Luckily the furnace fixer came and was able to replace parts and no new furnace was required. Just being in our "warm" home is quite satisfying. Nothing like a little adversity to make one appreciate the usual.

  9. Wonderful sketches, my friend!!! My Dad lived with us for 12 years. Before he passed away, he told me he wanted me to make his room my little studio where I can paint, watch TV, sit, and read. Basically my little Happy place. Although, I lost an amazing Dad, and miss him terribly, I go in his room, think about him and smile..

  19. My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough. here is his Email: emutemple@gmail.com or call/text him on his WhatsApp +2347012841542
