October

There are many things that I love about October...

Colored leaves to paint...

sunny walks...

Gorgeous blue skies...

  but most of all beautiful sunsets.

Hope

Blue skies promise hope.  They lift our spirits and whisper the promise of better days ahead.

Patches of winter may linger but spring is just around the corner.

These little sweeties know it...

so does the crocus...

and snowdrop!

Take heart friends - spring is certainly on its way. 

 

Keep "looking up" hope will not disappoint!

p.s.  Thank you all your thoughts and prayers while my mother was in the hospital.   She is home and getting stronger each day.  You are all such a blessing to me.   May the God of  all hope fill each of your hearts with joy this coming week.

Notations

With the calendar turning to November I am making some notations.


The landscape has changed but there are still blue skies with soft puffy clouds...

A turkey vulture flying high...

ground cherries waiting to be picked

pink cosmos blooming in spite of the chilly air...

and  painting some of autumn's collection.
