Trust

I trust that all of you had a blessed Christmas season and a great start to 2020.

As always with the beginning of another year a particular word becomes my focus.   Last year it was peace.  Did I practice it perfectly?  No but I experienced in the midst of the ups and downs of life an acceptance of things that I could not change and therein peace found me.

Someone once said  "life is a journey not a destination".  In my humble opinion one doesn't learn good things at once.  They come to us in stages.  They appear in adverse circumstances.  They show up during a storm.   It would be grand if we learned spiritual virtues while the sun shone, the birds sang, and the flowers bloomed.   Unfortunately we don't grow and mature when life is easy...it takes tough challenges to strengthen one's muscles of faith.

With the beginning of a new year as well as a new decade my perfect word is "Trust".   Perhaps those of you who also have a perfect word or words will share yours.

God Bless

Debbie

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your understanding."  Proverbs 3:5 (NIV)

  6. Happy new year Debbie, I wish come loaded with good news, life is like that, there are not only easy roads and even the most beautiful roses have thorns, it is said here.
It is life and as the poet says "Walker there is no road, you make your way when you walk".
    Greetings.

  7. What a wonderful post from you Debbie! Trust is not always an easy one to do especially with those we do not know very well. However it is always best to look for the good in people and in the world, thank you for reminding us to do so. My word would be 'thoughtfulness' as I find myself a little impatient to get things done and being thoughtful of what I am doing and why I do it would help me understand things for what they are!

  22. My ex-husband and I had always managed to stay friendly after our divorce in February 2017. But I always wanted to get back together with him, All it took was a visit to this spell casters website last December, because my dream was to start a new year with my husband, and live happily with him.. This spell caster requested a specific love spell for me and my husband, and I accepted it. And this powerful spell caster began to work his magic. And 48 hours after this spell caster worked for me, my husband called me back for us to be together again, and he was remorseful for all his wrong deeds. My spell is working because guess what: My “husband” is back and we are making preparations on how to go to court and withdraw our divorce papers ASAP. This is nothing short of a miracle. Thank you Dr Emu for your powerful spells. Words are not enough. here is his Email: emutemple@gmail.com or call/text him on his WhatsApp +2347012841542
