Frost

A heavy frost came to the hills at Harmony this weekend.

The grass was crisp with crystals that sparkled in the morning sun.

This always make the fall colors more brilliant...

the landscape more alive...

and the sky appear more clear.

May everyone have a lovely week.

Hugs

Debbie

  3. Frosts can be magical. Growing up I loved the way they made patterns of frost inside our windows. No central heating in old Victorian British houses back then!
Have a blessed week, dear Debbie.

  10. What a pleasant sight to see frost on the hills, Debbie. I am loving your Fall photos and all the pretty colors in your area. It's nice to see all the different ways Autumn shows its beauty in each state. That is such a special verse. I will remember that this week. : )

  11. Isn't that first heavy frost marvelous! We have had several light frosts but none to make the grass crispy. Our poor grass was crispy lately because of the drought. It made me think of frost as I crunched across the lawn. Luckily we are getting a shot of rain today. Lovin every minute of it. Have a great week.

  17. We have been so used to the mild temperatures this autumn that eventually the frost had to arrive. I wasn't home this weekend so I don't know if we had frost yet...but by the look of my herbs on the patio it hasn't been cold enough. I'd better harvest them soon. lol Have a wonderful week, my friend. Hopefully the autumnal weather will energize us.

  18. Lovely colorful foliage and even the frost on the grass is a beauty. It seems to me that frost came very sudden ? Here still warm days and waiting for autumn to kick in .
