"The Old Rugged Cross"

Holy week always brings to mind an old hymn written by George Bennard "The Old Rugged Cross".

Alan Jackson does a beautiful job with this beloved song.   Hope you all enjoy it.

Have a blessed week.

Hugs Debbie

  5. A lovely hymn, thank you. As I watched it I was reminded of just how important and central the cross images is for millions of Christians. Regardless of its structure or appearance, it means so much to so many and is a constant reminder of faith.
Thanks, Debbie! Have a good week!

  6. It's beautiful. It was my grandpa's favorite song. He'd try to sing it-but always knew his voice was a bit off-but it didn't matter to us at all. What we heard was his real love for Christ. Happy Easter dear friend!
