Making a Memory

Yesterday was about making a memory.   Hubby had just heard that the Tall Ships were in the harbor at Lake Erie.  The weather was superb and it was a great opportunity to see these lovely maritime works of art.

Saturday's chores were left behind.  They would wait.   This event just couldn't be missed.

A wonderful option to avoid the traffic was to take a ferry across the lake.

It was a lovely way to travel... the breeze and the sun made it especially delightful.   The best part of the day for me!

These magnificent ships are amazing.    A part of the past that  remains for folks to still see.

I am so glad we seized  the day.  It made a special memory..
Hope you are making one too!

  2. That does sound like a fabulous Saturday. I always love being on the water and wish I could do it more often!! We've been known to blow off Saturday chores for these types of days too.

  5. I enlarged the images and enjoyed the show. Living in the desert like i do they made me feel like I took a trip.
Your description added such a lot... yes, I felt the sun and the breeze messed up my hair.
