If you are like me there are moments when you would like time to stand still. Summer days are some of those moments.   Green fields...                                                  flowers blooming... raspberries ripening... make me want to hit the pause button of time. Like this little fellow may we all be still and savor moments that bring us joy. Have a blessed week.  Hugs! Debbie "But I trust in you, O Lord; I say "You are my God."  My times are in your hands;"  Psalm 31:14 - 15a (NIV)

These three flowers are always faithful friends...poppies, cornflowers (bachelor buttons), and larkspur. They take no care and every year they reseed themselves and bloom the month of June. I like faithful - don't you?  Not only in flowers but relationships as well. This past week my hubby and I celebrated 43 years of faithfulness.  A bunch of living has happened but always our love has remained constant. Like these petals it takes time for love to mature.  It grows and blossoms during times of trials.  It flourishes as long as one thinks of the other first. The more care that goes into meeting the other's needs the more joy abounds. Love is a faithful friend that keeps a marriage strong. Speaking of faithful...thank you for always stopping to visit.   It means so much.   Have a blessed week. P.S. To all the fathers out there - hope you had a great day. Hugs Debbie "Be faithful , even to the point of death, and I will give

In the midst of life and all that is happening in the world finding contentment may be a challenge. I am discovering it in the quiet of  a lovely afternoon of rest... In the beauty of the moment that gives me time to take pause... and find delight in a furry thief that makes me smile. How about you?  Are you finding contentment in this time and place in the world?  Hoping you are. Have a blessed week. Hugs Debbie "...I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances."  Phil. 4:11 b (NIV)

If I Could

I would wrap up the month of June and present it as a gift just for you.  I'd invite you to join me and take a moment to watch this hummer enjoy her nectar... or take a garden tour and check out what is blooming... Columbine -  spider wort... (don't you just love the color of lavender??) - these fragrant pink peonies... they certainly have the smell of June... or sample some sweet strawberries... while we jaunted across a freshly mowed hay field. Yes I would certainly delight in giving you this perfect gift of June - if only I could. Have a great week. Hugs Debbie "Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows."   James 1:17 (NIV)
