Psalms

"The heavens declare the glory of God;

  the skies proclaim the work of his hands... Psalm 19:1

"O Lord, our Lord how majestic is your name in all the earth.  " Psalm 8:1

"I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your miracles of long ago.   I will meditate on all your works and consider all your mighty deeds."  Psalm 77:11-12

"From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I."  Psalm 61:2

In light of this past week's events in the world I find comfort in this book of Psalms.

Hope you do too.

God Bless!

Old Faithfuls

common orange daylily
These old faithfuls are such treasures in the garden.

In spite of our unusually dry summer this year they have faithfully continued to put on a show.

 Daylilies are not fussy.   Whether in sun or shade...

rain or drought

they continue to bloom each day.

Over the years I have added different varieties and colors.  All seem to grow and flourish making them wonderful plants that never seem to disappoint.

If choosing well one can have blooms from May to August.   For this reason they are one of my favorite perennials.

Do any of you have a faithful plant?   If so - hope you will share .

Thanks for taking time to stop and visit.   Have a lovely week.
