Not Quite

It is not quite October and already we are seeing spots of color...

there are bits of red ...

and yellow mixed among the greens.

Yes dear friends October may not have arrived but it looks like the hills are getting ready.

I love a September Morning when the sun starts to rise...

and the dewy mist cloaks the hills...

Last week of Summer

It is official - the last week of summer has arrived.












The final cutting of hay is done.

Blackberry leaves are changing to a lovely shade of crimson.

Green burrs have now turned brown.

Golden rod grows tall among the brambles.

Even these two know summer is coming to an end.

It is time to say farewell to this season and embrace autumn's arrival.  May it bring joyful moments as well.

Labor Day

Tomorrow brings the last holiday of summer in America - Labor Day.

Hope all who are celebrating have a happy and safe one.
